Sonage Travel Mini Set campaign

Role: Motion Designer & Creative Lead
Channels: Email, Product Page, Paid & Organic Social
Deliverables: Hero animation, stills, product photos, email creative, social assets

Project Goal

For this motion design project, I led the creation of a modular content suite designed for flexibility across digital touchpoints. This means ensuring high fidelity GIF and video assets with an emphasis on size contraints and load time The goal was to bring a sense of lightness, portability, and modern utility to a compact skincare offering—while maintaining brand cohesion and polish.

Hero Animation

The anchor of the campaign: a short, looping product animation built to lead in emails and stop thumbs on social. With load times in mind, I created an asset that balances fidelity and size.

Concept & Creative Direction

I wanted to capture the feeling of movement and on-the-go simplicity. The product is compact, but the creative had to feel expansive. My approach combined soft studio lighting, floating motion, and clear, centered product framing, showing each asset highlighted visually what was in the travel sets, while the clean background made it easy to adapt for performance marketing, email, and to use on the website.

Prepping for Motion

Before stepping into After Effects, I shot each individual component, isolated product stills in Photoshop, cleaned edges, and pre-planned composition layers. This was to ensure the most consistency and flexibility across the different deliverables

Email Integration

The anchor of the campaign: a short, looping product animation built to lead in emails and stop thumbs on social. With load times in mind, I created an asset that balances fidelity and size.
